General Care Recommendations

Avoid Heavy Lifting & Harsh Activities

  • We recommend removing your ring before any heavy lifting, gym workouts, or strenuous activities to prevent accidental damage or deformation.
  • Take it off before entering a hot tub, swimming pool, or sauna to avoid exposure to chlorine, salt water, or extreme heat, which may affect the finish.

Keep it Away from Harsh Chemicals

  • Cleaning products, household chemicals, and even hand sanitisers can dull the finish or react with certain metals.
  • If exposed, rinse your ring immediately with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Minimise Contact with Lotions & Oils

  • Apply lotions, perfumes, and oils before putting on your jewellery to avoid residue build-up, which can dull its shine over time.
  • Wipe down your jewellery regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth to maintain its lustre.

Metal-Specific Care

Titanium, Black Zirconium, Stainless Steel & Timascus

  • Low-maintenance & durable, these metals are resistant to rust.
  • Clean using warm, soapy water and a lint-free cloth. Dry thoroughly to maintain its shine.

Damascus Steel Rings

  • To clean, use mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush to remove dirt or oils.
  • If needed, a commercial jewellery cleaner is safe for Damascus rings.

Superconductor Rings

  • Superconductor rings develop a natural patina over time.
  • We apply a protective coating to slow this process, but it does not stop patina completely.
  • If you prefer to restore its original shine, we offer a protective coating reapplication service for £15 (postage required).

Ashes & Memorial Jewellery

Memorial pieces require extra care to preserve both the setting and the ashes/hair inside.

  • Avoid exposure to water, moisture, perfumes, and lotions.
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not wearing.
  • Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • If your piece contains UV resin elements, avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods to maintain clarity.
