Return and Refund Policy

Every True North Forge ring and piece of memorial jewellery is individually handmade to the specifications selected when ordering. These choices may include ring size, width, profile, finish, inlay, engraving and personal materials.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Items made to your chosen specifications, personalised pieces, engraved jewellery and memorial jewellery cannot normally be returned or refunded simply because you have changed your mind.

This includes rings made in your selected size, width, profile, finish or inlay combination.

Please check all order details carefully before completing your purchase.

Cancellations and Changes

Production may begin shortly after an order is placed.

If you need to cancel or change your order, please email hello@truenorthforge.co.uk as soon as possible. We will try to help where we can, but cancellation or changes may not be possible once materials have been ordered or work has begun.

Incorrect Ring Size

Our alternative-metal rings cannot normally be resized after completion.

If your ring has been made in the size you ordered but does not fit, this is not considered a manufacturing fault. However, we offer a replacement ring for 50% of the original ring price when requested within 30 days of receiving it, provided our sizing guidance was followed.

Faulty, Incorrect or Misdescribed Items

Every item is carefully inspected before dispatch.

If you believe your item is faulty, has been made incorrectly or does not match its description, please email hello@truenorthforge.co.uk with your order details and photographs where possible.

Faults do not include accidental damage, normal wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect care, natural variations in materials or a ring not fitting when it was made in the size ordered.

Handmade and Natural Variations

As every piece is handmade, small differences may occur between the finished item and product photographs.

Natural materials such as meteorite, fossil, wood, opal and stone will vary in colour, texture, markings and pattern. These natural variations are part of what makes each piece individual and are not considered faults.

Memorial Jewellery

Memorial jewellery is individually created using personal materials such as ashes, hair or fur and cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind.

Please carefully check all sizing, engraving, colour, personalisation and visible or hidden ashes selections before placing your order.

This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty or incorrectly made

Arranging a Return

Please contact us before returning an item. Do not send jewellery or personal materials back without first receiving return instructions.

Items should be packaged securely and returned using a tracked and appropriately insured postal service. Customers are responsible for return postage relating to sizing remakes and other non-fault matters.

Refunds

Where a refund is agreed, it will be issued to the original payment method. The time taken for the funds to appear will depend on your bank or payment provider.
