True North Forge – Shipping Policy
At True North Forge, every piece is individually handmade to order in our Scottish workshop. This Shipping Policy explains our production times, delivery services, and what to expect when placing an order.
Production Times
Because every piece is handmade, production begins after your order has been placed and all required information has been received.
Typical production times are:

Handmade rings and jewellery: approximately 16 days

Memorial jewellery: may require additional time depending on complexity

Superconductor jewellery: may require additional time due to specialist materials

Natural inlay jewellery: may occasionally require additional production time
If we are awaiting ring size confirmation, production will not begin until sizing has been confirmed.
Production times are estimates and may vary during busy periods.
UK Shipping
We offer free UK shipping on eligible orders.
All UK orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked services and include tracking information.
Typical delivery time after dispatch:

Royal Mail Tracked 24: usually 1–2 working days

Royal Mail Tracked 48: usually 2–3 working days
Delivery estimates are provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed.
Express Production
An Express Production Upgrade is available on selected products.
Where available, we prioritise your order within our production schedule and aim to complete it within the advertised timeframe.
Memorial jewellery, Superconductor jewellery, heirloom projects, and certain bespoke commissions may not be eligible for express production due to the complexity of the work involved.
If you require an item by a specific date, please contact us before ordering.
International Shipping
We proudly ship worldwide.
International orders are normally sent using Royal Mail International Tracked services or equivalent tracked services where appropriate.
Typical delivery times after dispatch:

Europe: approximately 3–10 working days

USA & Canada: approximately 5–14 working days

Australia & New Zealand: approximately 5–20 working days

Rest of World: varies by destination
Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only.
Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
International customers are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, taxes, VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by their country.
These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping costs paid to True North Forge.
Unfortunately, we cannot predict or control customs charges and are unable to reimburse these costs.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing tracking information.
Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after collection by the postal service.
Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels
We take great care in packaging every order.
If your parcel appears delayed, please allow sufficient time for the carrier to complete delivery before contacting us.
If your parcel has not arrived after:

10 working days (UK)

30 working days (International)
please contact hello@truenorthforge.co.uk and we will assist with an investigation.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours and provide photographs of:

The packaging

The shipping label
-
The damaged item
This allows us to make a claim with the carrier where appropriate.
Delivery Dates
While we will always do our best to accommodate important dates such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and memorial events, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by postal services, customs authorities, adverse weather, strikes, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
