A sterling silver thistle with a personal memorial
Made from solid 925 sterling silver, the pendant features a detailed Scottish thistle design with a 6mm central memorial setting. The pendant measures approximately 15mm × 17mm and comes with an 18-inch silver chain.
The central setting can show the natural appearance of the ashes or include a colour of your choice. You might prefer something soft and understated, or a shade that reminds you of the person or pet you're remembering.
Your ashes, carefully placed by hand
Katie creates each memorial inlay individually in our Aberdeenshire workshop. A small amount of your supplied ashes is carefully placed into the centre of the thistle, combined with your chosen colour if requested, and sealed beneath clear jewellery-grade resin.
Every set of ashes has its own natural appearance, so each finished inlay is individual. We understand that the material you send to us is irreplaceable, and we handle it with the respect and care it deserves.
Only a very small amount of ashes is needed. Any ashes not used in your necklace will be carefully returned with your finished piece.
How to send your ashes
After placing your order, we'll send you a complimentary ashes collection kit. It includes a small measuring spoon, a secure bag and prepaid Royal Mail return postage to help you send the ashes to our workshop.
We know that sending ashes can feel like a significant step. The kit is intended to make the process as straightforward as possible, and you're welcome to contact us if you'd like to ask anything before sending them.

Caring for your silver memorial necklace
Gently polish the sterling silver with a suitable silver polishing cloth. To care for the memorial resin setting, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, chemicals and excessive heat. Wipe the inlay gently with a soft cloth rather than abrasive cleaning products.

How do I send ashes to you?
After you place your order and click to add an Ashes Collection Kit, we’ll post it out within 4 business days. The kit includes everything you need, and return delivery is pre-paid and tracked for peace of mind.
Can I send hair, fur or fabric instead of ashes?
Yes, absolutely. Many families choose to include hair, fur or small pieces of material. Just send them inside the kit we send
I’m worried about sending something so precious, is it safe?
Every kit we send and receive uses fully tracked delivery, both ways. We’ve never lost an item, and we treat every inclusion with the utmost care.
How long does it take to receive my memorial jewellery?
Once we receive your inclusions, most orders are completed within 2 weeks. If you need it sooner, just let us know, we’ll always do our best to help.
What happens if you have ashes or hair left over?
We only ever use a very small amount in your jewellery. Any ashes, hair or fabric that aren’t needed will be safely returned to you with your finished piece.
Can I personalise my jewellery?
Yes. Every piece is handmade to order and can be personalised with resin colours, sparkles or opals. We can also engrave names, messages, or even your loved one’s handwriting inside the ring or pendant and it’s always free of charge.
