The perfect replacement for a lost wedding ring. My husband absolutely loves it. It’s beautiful - fantastic quality and craftsmanship, plus very comfortable to wear.

I wanted to get a pair of rings to celebrate our tenth anniversary, these would be worn just below our wedding rings as a reminder of a decade together. In order to fit nicely without getting in the way of everyday tasks, and to allow space for the future, I wanted these to be as thin as possible while still having a visible Damascus pattern.

I had looked around for months and was really struggling to find a jeweller who did anything below 4mm, even then the prices ranged from £20 to £1000 making it very difficult to figure out what was handmade, what was overpriced and what was a cheap import.

I contacted True North Forge after seeing their beautiful selection of Damascus steel rings online and asked whether it was possible to get these made in a 2mm width, I was elated a day later to receive a response from Katie confirming that this was definitely possible and they would be happy to do it as a custom order for me (they even provided a discount code).

I placed the order and received it a couple of weeks after (16-day order processing - true to the advertising on their site), Royal Mail contacted me with tracking updates and it fit through the letterbox. Packaged beautifully and secured safely in individual ring boxes.

They are absolutely beautiful! I'm so glad I didn't cave to lower pricing or to places that could only do specific widths because these are flawless and exactly what I imagined. You can tell that they are handmade with care and quality as the highest priority. They fit exactly as I intended, they are the perfect size, the pattern is beautifully unique on both the face and sides and despite it being such a thin ring they were even able to engrave the inner with "10" as I had requested.
