Stainless Steel Flat Shape Ring
The Stainless Steel Flat Shape Ring is defined by its straight outer surface and clean edges, creating a simple, contemporary alternative to the softer curves of a traditional Court ring.
Made from solid 316L Sheffield Stainless Steel, the broad flat surface gives the chosen finish plenty of presence across the band. Choose from polished, satin or blasted finish to create anything from a bright reflective surface to a softer matte or distinctly textured appearance.
Handmade to order by Graeme in our Scottish workshop, each ring is individually made to your chosen size, width and finish.
Flat Profile
The Flat profile features a straight outer surface rather than the rounded shape of a traditional Court ring.
Its clean edges and uninterrupted surface create a more structured appearance, particularly across wider bands, while the interior is shaped for comfortable everyday wear.
The simplicity of the Flat profile also makes the finish particularly noticeable, allowing polished, satin and blasted Stainless Steel to each give the same ring a very different character.
Your Choice of Finish
Choose from polished, satin or blasted finish.
Polished has a smooth, bright and highly reflective surface. Across the flat profile, this creates a clean mirror-like appearance that catches the light strongly as the ring moves.
Satin / Matte has a softer, muted appearance with considerably less reflection, giving the flat surface a more understated look.
Blasted creates a fine, uniform texture across the Stainless Steel. The textured surface diffuses light, producing a deeper, darker grey appearance than satin with very little reflection.
Like all metals, Stainless Steel will naturally develop surface marks through everyday wear. Satin and blasted finishes generally disguise these more readily than highly polished surfaces.

The Flat ring is made from high-quality 316L Sheffield Stainless Steel, chosen for its strength, corrosion resistance and suitability for everyday wear.
Stainless Steel has a reassuring weight on the hand and offers excellent durability while requiring very little maintenance. It will not tarnish and is highly resistant to rust and corrosion under normal everyday conditions.

Every Stainless Steel Flat Shape Ring is handmade by Graeme in our Scottish workshop and made specifically to your chosen size, width and finish.
Available in sizes up to Z+6, including half sizes.
Engraving can be added to the inside of the band if selected.

Care
Stainless Steel requires very little maintenance. Clean your ring occasionally using mild soap and warm water before drying thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning products, particularly across polished or textured finishes.

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?
There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. What is the thickness of the ring?
Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.
How can I check my size before ordering?
There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.

What happens after I place my order?
After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.
How long does it take to make a ring?
Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.
Is engraving included?
Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.
Who actually makes my ring?
Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.
What are your return policies?
Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
