The Bervie is all about continuity. Its Damascus pattern forms a tight, flowing ripple that travels seamlessly around the entire band, creating a sense of movement that never breaks. The grain feels organic and deliberate, giving the ring a strong visual identity without feeling overstated.
Handcrafted in Scotland and made to order, each Bervie ring is forged from folded Damascus steel and finished by hand in our workshop. You can choose a polished finish to bring out contrast and definition within the ripple pattern, or a satin matte finish for a softer surface that tempers reflections while still revealing the layered steel beneath.
The bevelled edges frame the pattern cleanly, adding structure to the design while keeping the profile comfortable for everyday wear. This balance between texture and shape gives the Bervie a refined feel, making it just as suited to long term wear as it is to marking something meaningful.
Crafted from a blend of 316L and 304L stainless steels, this ring is nickel free and suitable for sensitive skin. It is designed to be worn and lived in, with a finish that holds its character through daily use and simple care.
Personal engraving can be added to the inside of the band. When engraving is selected, the interior is polished smooth to ensure clarity and a comfortable finish against the skin.

What Is the Best Alternative Metal for a Wedding Ring?
There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. How can I check my size before ordering?
There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.

What happens after I place my order?
After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.
How long does it take to make a ring?
Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.
Is engraving included?
Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. Ifthe option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.
Who actually makes my ring?
Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.
What are your return policies?
Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
