Damascus Steel Ring with Opal Inlay

Damascus Steel Ring with Opal Inlay

£265.00

Handmade to order in Scotland. Ships in approximately 14 days. Free UK tracked delivery

Handmade to order in our Scottish workshop using premium alternative metals.

Made in Scotland, this Damascus steel ring features a 1mm inlay channel that can be customised in your chosen colour. Whether it is designed to complement your partner’s engagement ring, reflect a favourite colour, or represent a football team or shared interest, this ring is made to carry personal meaning in a subtle and considered way.

You can choose between a polished finish, which brings out contrast and movement within the Damascus pattern, or a satin matte finish for a softer, more understated look that still reveals the layered steel beneath the surface. Every ring is made to order and completely unique.

Six distinctive Damascus patterns are available, each shaped by layers of marine grade steel. Esk features tight, condensed twists, while Bervie shows bold wood grain ripples. Crynoch has flowing lines and softer curves, Findon is defined by vertical layered grain, Cowie forms intricate concentric rings, and Dee reveals irregular circular waves. No two rings are ever the same, making each piece as individual as the story behind it.

At the centre of the band is a fine 1mm inlay channel designed to hold your chosen colour. You can opt for a clean, flat resin colour or include crushed opals to add subtle texture and light. The inlay can be bold or discreet depending on how you want the ring to feel.

Crafted from 316L and 304L marine grade stainless steels, this Damascus ring is hypoallergenic, nickel free, and suitable for everyday wear. It will not tarnish or discolour your skin and requires only minimal care to maintain its finish.

Every order includes free UK delivery, a complimentary ring sizer before we begin, and free engraving if selected. When engraving is chosen, the inside of the band is polished smooth to ensure a clear and lasting result.

Each ring is handcrafted by G using high quality British metals and traditional techniques. There is no mass production here, just careful workmanship and a ring made to last a lifetime.

Ordering & Making Your Ring

What Is the Best Alternative Metal for a Wedding Ring?

There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. You can compare all options in our Alternative Metal Wedding Rings Guide.

How can I check my size before ordering?

There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.
