Dee Damascus Steel Bevel Ring

Rather than tightly controlled symmetry, its Damascus pattern forms flowing concentric ripples that move naturally around the band, creating depth, contrast and variation that never repeats in exactly the same way. The result is a ring that feels organic yet refined, bold without becoming overstated.

Handmade to order in our Scottish workshop, each Dee ring is individually crafted from layered Damascus steel and finished by hand by Graeme.

Not sure which Damascus pattern is right for you? We have created a dedicated guide explaining the differences between Esk, Bervie, Crynoch, Findon, Cowie and Dee, complete with photos and pattern comparisons.

A pattern that never repeats

The layered structure within Damascus steel creates natural variation throughout the ring, with flowing grain lines and ripples formed during the forging process. No two Dee rings will ever be identical, giving each piece its own character and movement beneath the surface.

Available in your choice of polished or satin finish, the Dee can be tailored toward either stronger contrast and reflection or a softer, more understated appearance.

The bevelled profile introduces a clean modern edge to the design, framing the flowing Damascus pattern while maintaining a comfortable fit for everyday wear.

Crafted to endure

Each ring is created using a high-quality blend of 304L and 316L stainless steels. The result is a durable Damascus steel designed for long-term wear, offering excellent corrosion resistance alongside the distinctive layered appearance that makes Damascus so recognisable.

The Dee is completely nickel free, suitable for sensitive skin and designed not to tarnish or discolour your finger over time.

Handmade to order

Every Dee ring is handmade by Graeme in our Scottish workshop and crafted specifically to your chosen size.

You can personalise your ring through your choice of width, finish, profile and engraving.

Engraving can be added to the inside of the band. When selected, the interior of the ring is polished to ensure a clear inscription and comfortable finish against the skin.

The Dee works particularly well as a wedding ring for someone looking for something distinctive and individual without losing a clean, wearable feel.

Care

Your ring requires only simple care. Occasional cleaning with mild soap and water and drying with a soft cloth will keep it looking its best.

Ordering & Making Your Ring

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?

There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. You can compare all options in our Alternative Metal Wedding Rings Guide.

What is the thickness of the ring?

Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.

How can I check my size before ordering?

There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.
We’ll confirm any sizing details with you before we begin

Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.

Is engraving included?

Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.

Who actually makes my ring?

Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.
