Titanium Personal Material Inlay Ring

This Titanium ring is designed to hold something personal.

A material from a place that matters to you, set into a fine inlay and sealed for everyday wear. Sand, shell, stone, wood or other suitable materials can be used to create a ring that carries a specific location, memory or moment. Optional metal accents, including copper, silver or 24ct gold, can be added through the product options to introduce a subtle contrast.

Each ring is handmade to order in our Scottish workshop by Graeme and crafted to your exact size.

Your chosen material is carefully prepared and placed within a fine 1mm or statement 2mm channel before being sealed beneath a clear, durable resin. This process protects the material while allowing its natural texture and colour to remain visible. The finished surface is smooth, strong and designed for daily wear.

Only a small amount of material is required, typically no more than a grape-sized quantity. Any unused material will be carefully returned to you with your finished ring.

Because every material is different, each ring will have its own character. Subtle variations in texture, tone and pattern are part of what makes every piece individual.

A wide range of materials can be used, including sand, stone, shell, wood, crystal and other solid materials. If you are unsure whether your material is suitable, you’re welcome to get in touch before ordering.

Titanium is chosen for its strength, lightweight feel and durability. It is hypoallergenic, corrosion resistant and well suited to a ring that will be worn every day.

To create your ring, you will send your chosen material to us after placing your order. We will confirm suitability and guide you through the process before any work begins. You can find full guidance on sending your material in our Personal Material Guide.

The cost of sending material to us is the responsibility of the customer, an email will be sent within 10 minutes of order with our address and any other details. Please tick yes to marketing emails to receive it, we do not spam emails and you can unsubscribe as soon as you get the email.

Ordering & Making Your Ring

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?

There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. You can compare all options in our Alternative Metal Wedding Rings Guide.

What is the thickness of the ring?

Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.

How can I check my size before ordering?

There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.
We’ll confirm any sizing details with you before we begin

What happens after I place my order?

After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.

How long does it take to make a ring?

Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.

Is engraving included?

Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.

Who actually makes my ring?

Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.

What are your return policies?

Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
