Titanium Ring with Black Zirconium Liner

Strength in structure. Beauty in detail.

This titanium ring features a black zirconium liner, brought together using a precision interference fit — a technique that merges two extraordinary metals into one seamless whole. The result is a striking, durable ring with contrasting textures and tones, made to be worn every day with ease and pride.

Handcrafted by G in our Scottish workshop, this ring reflects both advanced technique and hands-on craftsmanship.

Crafted to Endure

The black zirconium liner is transformed through controlled heat treatment, developing a deep black ceramic-like finish that is permanently bonded to the metal beneath. It offers a smooth, glass-like feel with the hardness of sapphire. Paired with hypoallergenic, biocompatible titanium — the same grade used in medical implants — the ring is lightweight, skin-safe, and built to last.

A Comfortable Fit

With a slightly thicker 2.2mm profile, this ring feels solid yet comfortable on the hand. The interference fit process locks the two metals together without adhesives or fasteners, ensuring a secure, permanent bond. The interior liner is polished for smoothness and comfort, while the outer titanium surface can be finished to suit your personal style.

Handmade Just for You

Each ring is made to order by G. Choose your shape — Court for a traditional, softly rounded profile, or Flat for a modern, structured look. Select your finish:
Satin Matt for understated texture
Polished for classic shine

You can also personalise your ring with engraving on the inside — a name, a message, or something only you’ll know is there.

The True North Promise

Your ring includes a free ring sizer and free UK shipping. Most of our designs include complimentary engraving. If you’re not sure which shape or finish suits you best, we’re happy to guide you.

Ordering & Making Your Ring

What is the best alternative metal for a wedding ring?

There is no single best metal. It depends on your preference for weight, finish and appearance. Titanium is extremely lightweight, Damascus Steel features unique layered patterns, Black Zirconium offers a deep black finish and Stainless Steel provides strength with a classic silver tone. You can compare all options in our Alternative Metal Wedding Rings Guide.

What is the thickness of the ring?

Our rings are crafted with an approximate thickness of 2 mm. This provides a balanced feel that is substantial enough for durability while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. Each ring is shaped and finished by hand, so there may be very slight variations, but all are designed to maintain a consistent and comfortable profile.

How can I check my size before ordering?

There are several ways to confirm your size: you can be measured at any jeweller and ask for the internal diameter, order a ring gauge yourself and let us know the result, use a ring that already fits and send it to us, or request one of our free ring sizers at checkout.
We’ll confirm any sizing details with you before we begin

What happens after I place my order?

After you order, we review your details and begin crafting your ring. If anything needs clarifying, we’ll contact you directly. Once complete, your ring is carefully packaged and sent via tracked UK delivery. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as it’s dispatched.

How long does it take to make a ring?

Most rings are ready within 2–3 weeks, but we recommend allowing 4 weeks before your wedding. Need it faster? Just let us know.

Is engraving included?

Engraving is always free. We can add names, dates, or even your own handwriting inside your wedding ring. To know more about handwriting engraving, take a look at this blog. . If the option is showing on the product listing, it is engravable.

Who actually makes my ring?

Every ring is made to order in our Scottish workshop by hand by Graeme, or G as he is known. We don’t outsource production or hold bulk stock. Your ring is crafted individually once your order is placed, then finished, checked and prepared for dispatch.

What are your return policies?

Because each ring is made to order in your chosen size and finish, returns are not available once production begins. We provide a complimentary ring sizer before crafting to ensure a confident fit.
