Handmade Damascus Steel Rings
Every Damascus Steel ring we make begins with layers of Stainless Steel forged together to create the distinctive patterns running through the metal.
Rather than a surface pattern or coating, these lines are part of the steel itself. As the ring is shaped and finished, the layers are revealed across the surface, creating variations in every finished ring.
Our Damascus rings are handmade to order by Graeme in our Scottish workshop and are available in a range of patterns, profiles and finishes.
Choose Your Damascus Pattern
The pattern has one of the biggest influences on the appearance of a Damascus ring.
Some patterns create long, flowing lines around the band, while others produce tighter twists, irregular markings or more pronounced contrast across the surface.
Because Damascus is forged rather than printed or applied, the exact position of the pattern will naturally vary from ring to ring. Your ring will have the character of your chosen pattern, but it will never be an exact copy of another.
Not sure which to choose? Our Damascus Steel Pattern Guide shows the different patterns side by side and explains how each appears on a finished ring.
Your Choice of Shape and Finish
Our Damascus Steel rings are available in a selection of profiles including Court, Flat and Bevel, depending on the design.
You can also choose between polished and satin finishes.
A polished finish creates stronger contrast and reflection across the Damascus pattern, while satin produces a softer, more muted appearance.
Selected designs are also available with precious metal inlays, including Silver, Palladium, Platinum and 18ct Gold, creating a clean line of contrasting metal through the Damascus pattern.
What Makes Damascus Steel Different?
Our Damascus Steel is produced using layers of 304L and 316L Stainless Steel, which are forged together to create a single piece of patterned metal.
When the finished ring is etched, the different layers react at slightly different rates, revealing the characteristic lines and patterns within the steel.
This means the pattern isn't simply on the surface for decoration — it comes from the layered construction of the material itself.
Handmade in Scotland
Every Damascus ring is individually made to order by Graeme in our Scottish workshop.
Your ring is shaped, finished and etched individually before receiving its final finish. Natural variation within the Damascus means no two finished rings will have precisely the same pattern placement.
Most designs are available in sizes up to Z+6, including half sizes, with free engraving available if selected.
